What is Skrill?

Skrill (formerly known as Moneybookers) is an online wallet solution for online payments. Skrill acquired Paysafecard in 2013 to extend its services with prepaid cards. This payment method is accessible in nearly 200 countries with over 40 million account holders. Skrill is part of the Paysafe Group that includes companies such as Neteller, Paysafecard and Ukash.

Available integration methods

Skrill is available via Nuvei’s hosted payment pages (Cashier and Checkout) which provide access to the Skrill interface. Skrill can be also integrated via server to server method through REST API. 

 

Skrill shopping experience

  1. Shopper selects Skrill from list of payment methods at checkout

2. Shopper enters credentials and accesses Skrill account

3. Skrill interface displays account balance and payment confirmation option

4. Payment is confirmed and shopper is redirected back to merchant’s site
